Graphic Organizers

Ok....I have to admit that I LOVE writing! There is nothing better than giving my kiddos a fresh blank graphic organizer and watch as they fill it with their writing.  I work with first and second graders in small Literacy Groups each week.  My favorite part of the week is WRITING!  Usually after Christmas Break, I begin to use graphic organizers with my firsties.  I was having a difficult time finding exactly what I wanted...so I had to create them.

This packet has 26 graphic organizers in it.  Each organizer has 2 copies...one with lines and one without lines.  Sometimes those little ones need a little help ;)
Here are some samples of organizers I have started to use during groups:

Here are some completed (unedited) organizers from my second graders:

If you leave a blog post comment, I will choose two random winners to win this packet.  I will post the winners Friday!

Here are the winners for Stephanie's  St. Patrick's Day themed Sentence Scramblers.

Congratulations..Special Teacher for Special Kids & Suzie Cahalane!

Enjoy your week!
Kathi

I love using graphic organizers with books we read, then using the same ones for students to write the same genre. These look perfect! Thanks for the opportunity.
